The Alancynn (Êo.) , Alakyn (Del.) or Alanekuni (Wd.) (All from Ol Rh. Alanakunia or "Kindred of Growth") were a cult among the Northmen of Rhovanion. The members of the Alancynn revered Yavanna, Araw, and the Trees.
The cynn's main festivals were the Festival of the Hunt (about mid-Narwain or Afteryule), the Festival of Rebirth (end of Gwaeron or Rethe), the Festival of Berries (about the first day of Lótesse or mid-Thrimidge), and the Festival of Colors (beginning of Ivanneth or mid-Halimath).
