The Akha (Ib. "Gifted folk") were a collection of fierce and independent clans native to Akhâna. They were mostly semi-nomadic horsemen and goat-herders, though one-third of the population was sedentary and made up the folk of the many villages along the Akhâna Rush. They were related in language to the Ibavini, but were feared as fierce raiders.
