Yitsú also known as Aernaeth, Eärenahta and Razorback was a yellow concentrated venom obtained from the Yitsú, a large clam native to temperate shallow seas, closely related to the Yitsúkar and Yitsútyr, despised as a dangerous pest by fishermen. Yitsú was prepared by immersing the clams in cold fresh water, inducing them to secrete the oily venom as a protective measure. Some of the oil floated to the surface, where it was collected and heated until its color darkened from pale straw to bright canary yellow.An Antidote against Yitsú poisoning was the Shadowvine
