Aelindureth (S. "She of the Lake of Darkness"; B.S. "Ailburzniz") was, according to certain sources, a corrupted Elf who claimed the title of heir to Sauron.

History[]

Aelindureth's origins are said to be from Eregion, and was one of the prized few corrupted Elves (and even fewer corrupted Noldor), and was given a privileged life in Núrn. She survived the fall of Mordor to Gondor, and was said to be among the remaining followers of the Shadow who claimed the title of Sauron's Heir, and that she attempted to have the Dúnedain bow to her as a Dark Queen.

Notes[]

original form:Aelindur = Aelindureth

In Other Hands #1, Aelindur is presented as the Daughter of Sauron and Ariel, the sister of Celebrimbor, who was seduced by Annatar before the fall of Eregion. The idea of a daughter of Sauron trying to succeed him is very contradictory to the known events of the Fourth Age, and the general themes of the Legendarium, and must be taken extremely liberally unless one is comfortable deviating very far from the established story. She is said to be an interpretation of what Galadriel may have been like if she did take the One Ring from Frodo.
