Aegawin (Ae.) or Aeganlect was the native language of the Aegaw. It was a member of the Wômarin language family, being a descendant of the tribal dialects of the Micghiná and Ilhian.

The Aegawin from the ICE books was loosely based on Amerindian vocabulary; in contrast Aegawin and it's dialects as presented in some works of the fan modules group was more influenced by Romanian.
