Adelard Took (TA 2928 – 4A 2) was a Hobbit of the Shire, son of Flambard Took and a grandson to the Old Took. He lived at Great Smials in Tuckburrow where he took care of the Took's library and is the father of Hyacintha, Celia, and Florence Took.
He was a guest at Bilbo Baggins' Farewell Party, where he was given an umbrella by Bilbo, as he had borrowed many and never returned one.
