Adek (Adek "Kinsman") was the language of a fierce and nomadic group of tribes who inhabited the southeastern central region of Middle-earth in the late Second and early Third Age. It was a descendant of Linerin, the tongue of the Eastern Lake-peoples. The Aldûryakna, Bûrskadek, Rálek, and Hôrlek people were descendants of this old branch of the Easterling cultures.
