Adanel (S. "Star of the fathers of men") was a wise-woman of the House of Hador. She was a daughter of Malach Aradan and aunt to Hathol son of Magor and Andreth Saelind to whom she passed down her ancestral knowledge.With her husband Belemir son of Beldir she was the mother of Beren son of Belemir and four other children.
