Finelimar (T.A. 2172 - T.A. 2299) was the eldest child of Amrothos and ruled Dol Amroth for 45 years as the fourth Prince. He was a great builder of ships, increasing the navy of Dol Amroth with past designs and newer, more effective and specialist models of vessels. He made many journeys to Tolfalas with his eldest son, Erchirion, and kept a watch throughout Belfalas for the return of the Corsair attacks, a vigilance which continued long after his death.

Original form:Fingelimer = Finelimar
The name seems to be based on "Angelimar" a discarded form of Angelimir."Ang-" is possibly Sindarin and "-elimar" if often supposed to be Adûnaic, the element "Fin-" probably is Quenya or Sindarin, the same as in Fingon or Finwë, meaning "Craft, Skill".
