Ûbuzath (Me. "Space shall part") was an enigmatic being Morgoth had once encountered in the Void.He seemed to be a being of pure energy.Melkor corrupted him and brought him with him to Arda during his descend.He sheltered the Ûbuzath deep within the Underdeeps of Utumno or Angband, bound in the bodily form of a shapeless cancer-like mass.It was also said that the Ûbuzath kept Morgoth's library of sorcerous Stone tablets containing much of the knowledge of the Valar.It is unknown what happened to the Ûbuzath after the War of Wrath, some loremasters speculated he was not found but survived buried and hidden deep beneath Mount Utumno.
