Ûax and surrounding Lands
Like Ûab to the west, Ûax (D.S."Icy Claw") was situated north of the eastern branch of the Ered Engrin (S. "Iron Mountains"). It occupied the northern half of the frigid peninsula that formed the upper shores of the Sea of Illuin. Ice-trolls, snow-orcs, and scattered bands of Umli hunters roamed the area.
